Kim Melanson designs and produces quilts and blankets at QSP Studio, located in Farmington, Utah.
Kim is an artist by trade and loves using the medium of fabric and stitching to create beautiful masterpieces. Her favorite part in the process is seeing the design she visualized in her mind be revealed on the finished product.
Kim is grateful for the gift of creativity God blesses her with and really gives Him credit for all things good in her life.
Kim and her loving husband were the parents of boys, until thankfully those boys started bringing new daughters (by marriage) to the family! And they enjoy every minute they get to spend with their grandson and granddaughter!!
Kim still enjoys following her children in whatever activity they enjoy. She has been known to attend sporting events, such as soccer, basketball, swimming, tennis, track and ballroom dance. She loves to get involved in volunteering for these sports and has found herself coordinating youth basketball leagues and directing basketball tournaments with 60 games in one day!
In her spare time, Kim enjoys any type of arts and crafts, creating photo books, serving in her church, reading, traveling with her family, and learning Japanese.
Kim and her husband’s latest traveling adventure involved living in Luxembourg for just over a year. Treasured friends and amazing memories are the valuable take aways from that experience!
